Where do I find the comptetitions?

The village leader (not elder!) is in charge of the competitions. He's the elderly, bald guy in the center of the village, to the top left of the village tree. Click him to open the competition menu.

General information about competitions

Competitions are about plants, donating them or growing them, and usually a fixed sum of gold is the prize for reaching rank 1-5. Additionally in certain competitions you can win Rubies, decoration items, XP, Mana as an extra prize for coming in first place.

For every village competition you're going to win, your village will receive a badge for the competition pole at the fairground.

Competitions can be used to help low level players earn gold - new players or recently transformed. And they can also be done just for fun, for the badges or any other reason. While for a lot of players they are a convenient way to make gold, they are still meant to be competitions, so don't be surprised if you meet opponents who actually try their best to win.

What competitions are there?

There are different types of competitions - single player competitions (= Growing Races) and village competitions (Harvest Races and Big Orders). All types are explained separately later on.

Common abbreviations for the different types are GR for Growing Race, HR for Harvest Race and BO for Big Order.
